STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL LEAD TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.
THE GREATEST IMPACT WILL BE SEEN OVER OPEN AREAS WITH EAST TO
WEST ORIENTED ROADS. VISIBILITY DROPPING TO ONE QUARTER MILE OR
LESS IS POSSIBLE.

MINOR FLOODING DUE TO ICE JAMS IS POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW SHOULD CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY MORNING.

ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS
NORTHWESTERN INDIANA AND EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...WITH LIGHTER
AMOUNTS ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS. STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS
WILL ALSO DEVELOP LATE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT AND THIS COULD
LEAD TO CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WITH NEAR BLIZZARD
CONDITIONS.

NEAR RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES WITH DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS ARE
LIKELY SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT. WIND CHILL READINGS AS
LOW AS 40 TO 45 BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE MONDAY AND TUESDAY
MORNING...WITH HIGHS NOT LIKELY TO RISE ABOVE ZERO.

THERE IS AN INCREASED POTENTIAL FOR ICE JAM RELATED FLOODING.
