This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

An isolated thunderstorm or two is possible along and south of the
Kankakee River through early afternoon. Otherwise, a few
thunderstorms are possible late tonight into early Friday, best
chances across areas west of the Chicago metro.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible Friday
evening and night. Thunderstorms may linger into Saturday,
mainly southeast of Interstate 55 in the morning and along and
south of the Kankakee River in the afternoon. Finally, heat index
values Friday and again early next week may exceed 95 degrees.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 30 to 35 mph.
