Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will once again be possible
today, including this morning across parts of northeast Illinois
and northwest Indiana with additional storms focusing in a similar
area this afternoon. Gusty winds, small hail, and locally heavy
rainfall leading to isolated instances of flooding will be the
main threats today.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:
Additional thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday, mainly south
and west of a Rockford to Rensselaer line. Warm and humid
conditions will continue through the middle of the week although
some relief from the humidity will be possible by the end of the
week and this weekend.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:
Moving toward the north at 5 mph this morning, and then to the
northwest at 15 to 20 mph this afternoon.
