DISCUSSION:

The remnants of tropical storm Cristobal will bring the potential
for strong, possibly locally damaging winds late Tuesday
afternoon into Tuesday evening, and again Wednesday.

There is also a small chance that some isolated thunderstorms
could pose a threat for brief tornadoes or locally damaging winds
Tuesday afternoon and evening. This risk is highly conditional on
sufficient instability developing.

Showers with brief torrential rainfall will also pose a threat
for localized flooding Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Strong southeast winds Tuesday afternoon and early evening may
produce minor lakeshore flooding along the Illinois Lake Michigan
shoreline.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
