Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms remain possible this afternoon
and evening. Gusty winds, small hail, and locally heavy rainfall
leading to isolated instances of flooding will be the main threats.

A warm and humid airmass will support heat indices in the mid 90s.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional thunderstorms are possible Wednesday, mainly south and
west of a Rockford to Rensselaer line. Warm and humid conditions
will continue through the middle of the week although some relief
from the humidity will be possible by the end of the week and this
weekend.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 15 to 20 mph.
