Limited Thunderstorm Risk overnight.
DISCUSSION...
There is a chance for scattered overnight across mainly
north central Illinois. Severe weather is not anticipated.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Friday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Monday and Tuesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday...

DISCUSSION:
A couple strong thunderstorms are possible Friday morning.
Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible late Friday
afternoon through Friday night. The potential is slightly higher
for these along and north of I-80. The primary threat with any
severe storms would be damaging winds.
Scattered thunderstorms are possible on Saturday and Saturday
evening, mainly along and south of I-80. Some of these may produce
locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
Heat index values Friday may approach 95 degrees and are likely to
rise above 95 on Monday and Tuesday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
