This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated thunderstorms are possible into this evening. While
severe weather is unlikely, any stronger thunderstorms will be
capable of producing brief gusty winds. Otherwise, the main
threats will be occasional cloud to ground lightning and brief
downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday Night...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are possible Friday
evening and night. Thunderstorms may linger Saturday afternoon
especially across the far south. Finally, heat index values Friday
and again early next week may exceed 95 degrees.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
