This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 50 to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible today.
Any thunderstorms that do develop will be capable of producing
strong and gusty winds. In addition, slow storm motions of less
than 15 mph may result in isolated instances of flooding,
especially if storms develop over areas that have received
significant rainfall over the past 3 days.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible late tonight
with a continued potential for locally heavy rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Daily occurrences of isolated to widely scattered showers and
storms will be possible through this week, with somewhat higher
coverage possible on Tuesday. Afternoon heat indices on Monday
will be in the mid and upper 90s are expected away from the lake.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
