This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk mainly south of I-80.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible through early this
morning, mainly well south of I-80. Small hail, gusty winds, and
brief heavy rainfall will be possible with any storms this
morning.

Additional showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this
afternoon once again primarily near and south of I-80. The
strongest storms today will be capable of producing isolated
strong to severe downburst wind gusts and small hail. Locally
heavy rainfall may cause isolated instances of mainly minor
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday and Monday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday through Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Additional thunderstorms may develop very late Sunday night
into Monday morning. Thereafter, a daily chance for mainly
isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms exists through
Friday.

Heat index values will likely to rise above 95 on Monday and
Tuesday away from the lake.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Due to the localized and brief nature of any severe threat today,
spotter activity is not expected, but reports of damage are
appreciated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east southeast at 25 mph.
