This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms mainly along and south
of a Sterling to Chesterton line will continue through early
evening and then likely dissipate with sunset. The main threats
with these slow moving thunderstorms will be brief wind gusts up
to 40 to 50 mph and heavy downpours. Very localized flooding will
be possible. A weakening area of showers and thunderstorms may
then move into portions of northwest and north central Illinois
toward daybreak.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Wednesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible on Monday through
Monday evening. There is uncertainty on exactly how things will
evolve, but isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible. The main hazard in any severe thunderstorm is expected
to be damaging wind gusts, with isolated small hail possible. In
addition, heavy downpours could cause localized flash flooding.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday and Thursday
afternoon, followed by potentially higher coverage of
thunderstorms on Friday, along with some risk for strong
thunderstorms and localized flooding.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east at 10 mph or less.
