This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk mainly across northwest Indiana.
Limited hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A moist and unstable air mass, particularly across eastern parts
of the outlook area, will support scattered thunderstorm
development today. Some of these storms could be severe, with
damaging wind gusts the main threat, though there is also a low
tornado threat across portions of northwest indiana through
midday. Any thunderstorms will also have the potential to produce
brief heavy downpours, which could produce ponding on roads.

Outside of thunderstorms, while not as windy as it was Tuesday,
southwest winds may gust around 30 mph at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Saturday...
High Swim Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters activation is not expected...however reports of any
severe weather would be appreciated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north-northeast at 45 mph.
