Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms will develop through the afternoon hours
with the highest coverage mainly near and east of I-55 and also in
the vicinity of I-39. The strongest storms will be capable of
producing strong wind gusts as well as brief heavy rainfall.
Additional showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop later
this evening. While the threat for widespread flooding is low, locally
heavy rainfall may lead to isolated instances of flooding, mainly
near and east of I-55.
