This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Light snow accumulations are possible today, with the greatest amounts expected well south of I-80. Highest accumulations of around 1 inch are expected south of a Pontiac to Fowler line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Saturday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

Sunday…

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A stronger storm system will bring a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and very windy conditions Sunday.

Moderate to, locally, heavy rainfall Saturday afternoon could lead to localized flooding as well as ice jam flooding on area rivers.
