This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk near Lake Michigan.  Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Strong northerly winds will gust to as high as 35 mph along the lakeshore this evening through the overnight. These winds will result in large waves and cause minor lakeshore flooding.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Monday through Saturday.

Thursday and Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A frontal boundary may stall over the region late in the week resulting in a couple windows of possible thunderstorms. In addition, heavy rainfall is possible.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.
