This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk, mainly near Lake  Michigan.  Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk

Monday…

Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk

Friday…

Limited Snow Risk.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.

DISCUSSION:

Northeast winds will gust as high as 35 to 40 mph Sunday night along the Lake Michigan shore. This will cause large waves and further elevated lake levels, which could result in minor lakeshore flooding.
