This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Sunday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk well south of I-80 in the evening.  Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk at night, mainly near  Lake Michigan.  Limited Ice Accumulation Risk, mainly in far northern Illinois  during the evening.  Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk at night.

DISCUSSION:

There is a slight chance for freezing rain Sunday evening, mainly in portions of far northern Illinois. In addition, northeast winds will gust as high as 35 to 40 mph Sunday night along the Lake Michigan shore. This will cause large waves and further elevated lake levels, which could result in minor lakeshore flooding.

Flooding will continue along portions of the Rock, Pecatonica, and Fox rivers.
