This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Accumulating snow will be possible tonight, primarily near and south of the I-80 corridor. Brief snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour are possible overnight in the heavier snow bands. Light accumulations remain possible as far north as the I-88 corridor.

Otherwise, flooding, some significant, will continue along portions of the Rock, Kishwaukee, Fox, Illinois and Des Plaines Rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Sunday through Friday.

Sunday…

Limited Snow Risk in the morning.
