Flood Advisory for… Rain and Snowmelt in… Northwestern La Salle County in north central Illinois… Ogle County in north central Illinois… Lee County in north central Illinois… De Kalb County in north central Illinois… Winnebago County in north central Illinois… Kane County in northeastern Illinois… McHenry County in northeastern Illinois… Boone County in north central Illinois…
Until 1000 PM CST
At 507 PM CST, doppler radar was tracking an area of moderate to heavy rain across portions of the advisory area. A period of moderate to heavy rain is likely early this evening in this advisory area. The combination of the rain and snowmelt will cause minor flooding to occur.
Some locations that will experience flooding include… Aurora, Rockford, Elgin, Carpentersville, St. Charles, Algonquin, West Chicago, McHenry, Batavia.
