This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk. Limited Flooding Risk. Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
DISCUSSION…
Rain and a few thunderstorms are expected through this evening, with the greatest risk for an isolated thunderstorm along and south of I-80 through mid evening. Moderate to locally heavy rainfall is possible, with amounts ranging from a half inch to an inch. This could result in minor localized flooding.
Very windy conditions will develop tonight, with gusts to 45 mph possible overnight. Gusty winds to 40 mph will persist into Sunday.
Localized ice jam flooding remains possible on area rivers.

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Wednesday…

Another strong storm system is possible by the middle of next week. Rain, windy conditions and a few thunderstorms are possible Wednesday into Thursday.
