Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake County Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater affecting Kane and McHenry Counties Fox River at Montgomery affecting Kane and Kendall Counties Fox River at Dayton affecting La Salle County
Forecast rainfall of three quarters of an inch to one inch in the next 24 hours will cause rises along the Des Plaines and Fox River basins.
The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation as well as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future.

Flood Advisory for The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
until Saturday March 16.
At 1030 AM Saturday the stage was 7.1 feet.
Action stage is 9.0 feet.
Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
Forecast…The river will rise to near 9.4 feet by early Friday morning.
