THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE…Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION:

A few thunderstorms are possible primarily north of I-80 late this evening and overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday and Friday…

Limited Flooding Risk.  Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

Saturday through Tuesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A west to east oriented stationary frontal boundary will settle across the area Thursday into the weekend. While rainfall will not be continuous, this boundary will likely be the focus for a few rounds of thunderstorms. The greatest chance for thunderstorms is expected to be Friday. Some thunderstorms Thursday and Friday may contain heavy rain.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving to the southeast at 25 mph tonight.
