THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR North Central Illinois… Northeast Illinois AND Northwest Indiana.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A cold front will push south across the area today. A few isolated thunderstorms are possible this morning over northeast parts of the outlook area. The potential exists for isolated thunderstorms to redevelop along the front south of Interstate 80 this afternoon. A few of the afternoon storms could be strong, with wind gusts in excess of 40 mph and small hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.
Wednesday through Sunday…
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
A west to east oriented stationary frontal boundary will settle across the area Thursday into the weekend. While rainfall will not be continuous, this boundary will likely be the focus for a few rounds of thunderstorms.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
