This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central Illinois…Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected…

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION…

Scattered thunderstorms are possible tonight, especially west of the Fox River Valley. One or two of the storms could become strong and produce some hail, in addition to cloud to ground lightning and heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday.

Friday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

Saturday and Sunday…

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Monday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.  Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.

Tuesday and Wednesday…

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Very hot and humid conditions are expected Saturday through Monday with peak afternoon heat indices over 100 degrees likely each day.
