CENTRAL COOK COUNTIES UNTIL 100 AM CDT...
At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Harvard to McCullom Lake to near North Chicago.
Movement was southeast at 25 to 30 mph.
Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Waukegan, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Mount Prospect, Hoffman
Estates, Glenview, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Northbrook, North
Chicago, Gurnee, Mundelein, Algonquin, Highland Park, McHenry, Vernon
Hills, Woodstock, Zion, Rolling Meadows and Grayslake.
Including the following interstates...
I-94 between mile markers 3 and 33.
I-294 between mile markers 3 and 33.
This includes... Chain O Lakes State Park, College of Lake County,
Great Lakes Naval Training Center, IL Beach State Park, Lake County
IL Fairgrounds, Lake Forest College, Mchenry County College, Mchenry
County Fairgrounds, Moraine Hills State Park.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
