This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk

DISCUSSION...

The risk this evening, especially for swimming but also for
severe weather, is primarily for Illinois counties along the
lake as well as for northwest Indiana. This includes a low
chance for an isolated brief tornado. Additional storms that may
develop overnight will bring a threat of gusty winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk early in the morning.
Wednesday...
High Swim Risk
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

While severe weather cannot be ruled out, coverage is likely to
be isolated, thus spotter activation is not anticipated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 30 mph this evening and toward the
east at 40 mph tonight.
