This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited hail risk...up to half dollar size.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 70 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are likely to develop this afternoon over
northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Conditions do appear to
be marginally favorable for an isolated severe thunderstorm or two
to form. The primary risks would be localized large hail and
damaging winds, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Thunderstorms will diminish by early this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Periodic shower and thunderstorm chances exist from the end of this
week into early next week.

Spotters may be needed this afternoon.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 20 to 30 mph.
