This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk overnight.

DISCUSSION...

A couple non-severe thunderstorms are possible overnight.

There is a chance along the northeast Illinois shore north of
Chicago that a risk of high rip currents develops, mainly
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong cold front moving across the region Monday night will
bring a period of showers and thunderstorms to the outlook area.
With deep layer moisture pooling ahead of the front, there will be
a chance for some storms to produce locally heavy rainfall and the
potential for some localized flooding. The high levels of deep
layer moisture along with moderate instability will bring a chance
for some of the stronger storms to become severe, with damaging
winds the primary severe threat.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 30 mph.
