This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Widespread showers, some heavy, along with scattered embedded
thunderstorms will occur this morning. A localized flooding
threat exists with the heavier rainfall during the morning
commute period.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible late afternoon into the
early evening, with a better chance of thunderstorms late
evening into the overnight. A couple severe storms with a
threat of gusty winds are possible from late afternoon through
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk in the morning.
Wednesday...
High Swim Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

While severe weather cannot be ruled out, coverage of any
is likely to be isolated at best, thus spotty activation
is not anticipated.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north-northeast at 35 mph today and
moving toward the east at 40 mph tonight.
