This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected primarily northwest of I-55
this morning. Additional isolated to scattered thunderstorms are
expected to develop across the area this afternoon and continue
into this evening. Any storm could produce heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk
Friday and Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A strong weather system is expected to bring widespread rain and
thunderstorms to the region Monday afternoon into Monday night.
Storms could be severe with all modes of severe weather possible.
At this time, the greatest severe threat looks to exist near and
south of I-88. Heavy rainfall will also be possible which could
lead to isolated instances of flash flooding into Monday evening.

Strong and gusty north winds on Tuesday could result in dangerous
swimming conditions on Tuesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the southeast at 30 mph.
