NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills of -10 to -20 will continue across the area.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow and Sleet Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Fog Risk.
Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light snow mixed with sleet is possible Sunday morning, but
widespread accumulating snow will not start until Sunday
afternoon. Minor accumulations of around an inch or less are
expected. A mix with freezing rain is also possible, mainly south
of Interstate 80. Travel impacts may result.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
