THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills will be near zero in places early this morning.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Saturday...
Elevated Fog Risk.
Limited Ice Accumulation Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A deep area of low pressure will move through the region late
in the weekend into Monday, bringing drizzle and rain to the
area beginning Saturday night. Some brief patchy freezing drizzle
will be possible near the Illinois Wisconsin border Saturday night
before temperatures rise well above freezing Sunday. Mild, moist
air spreading over snow cover will likely result in areas of fog
from Saturday nigh through Sunday.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
