THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Elevated Excessive Cold Risk this morning.
Elevated Snow Risk late this afternoon through tonight.

DISCUSSION:

Snow will overspread the region late this afternoon or early
evening and continue through tonight. Expect steady periods of
light snow mid to late this evening through daybreak Monday.
Through Monday morning, expect snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches area-wide.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday and Tuesday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk...mainly in northwest Indiana Tuesday.
Wednesday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
