WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:
Extreme Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk For Northeast Porter County.
DISCUSSION:
Bitterly cold conditions will continue with wind chills 25 below
to 35 below zero across much of the area this morning. Wind chills
will remain in the 20 below to 30 below zero range tonight into
Tuesday morning.
Lake effect snow showers may produce minor snow accumulations in
northeast Porter County.
Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Tuesday through Friday...
Significant Excessive Cold Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Wind chills 20 below to 30 below zero are expected Tuesday
morning. Wind chills may approach 20 below zero Thursday morning
and Friday morning.
