THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...
NORTHEAST ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED:

Significant Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills of -15 to -25 will continue outside of the Chicago
metro area through mid-morning.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Snow Risk.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Tuesday and Wednesday...
Limited Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Light snow is likely on Sunday afternoon and night with minor
accumulation expected. A mix with freezing rain is also possible,
mainly south of Interstate 80. Travel impacts may result.

Localized ice jam flooding will remain a threat on area rivers.
