County...
Rain is beginning to transition to wet snow, briefly heavy at
times, across western McHenry County and will continue to shift
east through late morning. Heavier rates may overcome the warmer
pavement and result in slushy accumulations on roadways.
Additional snowfall amounts will likely range from a dusting to
possibly an inch.
Plan on extra travel time and the possibility of some slippery
road conditions this morning, as well as the chance for brief
reductions in visibility.
