A storm system is expected to track into the Midwest late in the

other details at this time, though it does appear that there is
some potential for snow across parts of the area from late Friday
night into early Sunday, with far north and northwestern Illinois
favored for potential accumulations. Strong northerly winds will
also result in the potential for minor lakeshore flooding
Saturday. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts for additional
detail as the storm approaches.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
