This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A quick burst of snow will be possible early this evening which
may result in brief sharply reduced visibility and a dusting of
snow for areas mainly north of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Tuesday...
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Elevated Snow and sleet Risk.
Wednesday...
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.
Thursday night and Friday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Limited Snow and Ice Accumulation Risk Thursday night.

DISCUSSION:

Precipitation will spread over the area late Tuesday afternoon
and evening. It is likely to begin as a period of snow into the
early evening before changing to freezing rain into the overnight
hours. An eventual transition to rain is expected early Wednesday
morning, but prior to that, some snow and ice accumulations will
be possible and this could impact travel into early Wednesday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
