This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk.
Limited Snow Risk.

DISCUSSION:

A storm system will impact the area on New Year's Day with ice
accumulations expected, mainly along and south of I-88 and away
from Lake Michigan. This will yield hazardous travel, potentially
dangerous in some locations, if higher ice totals were to occur.
Some snow accumulations, mainly minor, are also probable namely
Friday evening.
