This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk Porter County, Indiana.

DISCUSSION...

Wind chills this morning will be in the single digits to near zero
degrees. Wind chills tonight will fall as low as 10 to 15 degrees
below zero.

Lake effect snow showers are likely across mainly northern
portions of Porter County, Indiana later this afternoon and
through tonight. Snow accumulations of a few inches, combined with
gusty winds and blowing snow are expected to cause travel
challenges, and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Elevated Snow Risk Porter County, Indiana in the morning.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero are expected
Friday morning.

Lake effect snow showers will continue across mainly northern
portions of Porter County, Indiana Friday morning before
diminishing during the afternoon.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
