Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Limited Snow Risk late tonight north of I-80.
DISCUSSION...
A fast-moving system may bring a brief period of snow to areas
north of I-80 very late tonight. With surface temperatures below
freezing, there is a potential for slick spots to develop on
elevated and untreated surfaces with snow overlapping the morning
commute.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Monday...
Limited Snow Risk in the morning north of I-80.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Wednesday night and Thursday...
Limited Snow Risk.
Thursday night and Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Chances for snow will linger through the morning hours with a
continued potential for slick spots on elevated and untreated road
surfaces. Northwest winds are expected to gust to 40 mph late
Monday morning and afternoon.
Rain may change to snow Wednesday night and into Thursday with
some light accumulations and slippery travel possible.
Breezy northwest winds Thursday and Friday, combined with sharply
colder temperatures, may cause wind chills to drop below zero,
especially Thursday night and Friday morning.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
