...Accumulating Snow Potential on Saturday in Northern DeKalb
and McHenry Counties...
Rain early Saturday morning will transition to a rain snow mix
from west to east, and likely a period of all snow during mid to
late morning Saturday into early to mid afternoon. The snowfall
rate may briefly be on the heavier side, overcoming warmer
pavement and resulting in accumulation on roads. Snow amounts look
to be a dusting to possibly a couple inches.
Plan on extra travel time and the possibility of some slippery
road conditions on Saturday, as well as the chance for brief
sharply reduced visibility.
