This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.
Limited Excessive Cold Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Strong and gusty southerly winds will turn westerly this evening.
A Wind Advisory remains in effect for all of northwest Indiana
and northeast and north central Illinois.

Temperatures will fall sharply this evening with the arrival of a
powerful cold front. Wind chills may drop below zero before
daybreak Thursday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday and Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.
Limited Snow Risk across parts of Porter County, Indiana.

DISCUSSION:

Wind chills of as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero appear
likely Thursday night and into Friday morning.

Lake effect snow showers are likely across parts of northern
Porter County, Indiana late Thursday afternoon through Friday
morning. Snow accumulations of a few inches and travel impacts
will be possible, especially across the northeastern portion of
the county.
