...Accumulating Snow Potential this morning in McHenry County...

A period of wet snow, possibly briefly heavy, is expected during
the mid to late morning. Heavier rates will likely overcome the
warmer pavement and result in slushy accumulations on roads. The
greatest potential for heavier snow will exist across northwest
portions of McHenry County. Snowfall amounts will likely range
from a dusting in southeast portions of the county, including
Crystal Lake, to two to three inches of quick accumulation across
northwest and far northern portions of the county, including
Harvard and Hebron.

Plan on extra travel time and the possibility of some slippery
road conditions this morning, as well as the chance for brief
sharp reductions in visibility.
