Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

DISCUSSION:

Precipitation will spread over northern Illinois late Tuesday
afternoon and evening, before changing to a mix including
freezing rain overnight. Snow accumulations of several inches
are expected in portions of northern Illinois, mainly
along and north of Interstate 88 especially in north central
Illinois. Light ice accumulation is likely across much of the
area for at least a brief period Tuesday night. A transition to
rain is expected early Wednesday morning, but continuing
travel impacts into the morning commute are likely.
