This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

West to northwest winds will gust as high as 40 to 45 mph late
this morning and afternoon. The strongest winds will occur south
of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wednesday...
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Thursday and Friday...
Limited Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Winds are expected to gust as high as 35 to 40 mph ahead of and
behind a strong cold front Wednesday and into Wednesday night.

Rain may briefly change to snow Wednesday night into Thursday.
Breezy northwest winds Thursday through Friday, combined with
sharply colder temperatures, will likely result in below zero wind
chills, especially Thursday night and Friday morning.

Lake effect snow showers will be possible into portions of Porter
County Indiana later Thursday afternoon into Friday, and some
snow accumulations will be possible.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
