This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk today.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind Risk today.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk this afternoon and evening.
Limited Freeze Risk late tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Winds late this morning into the afternoon could gust over 40
mph. There is also a chance of an isolated thunderstorm late this
morning into the early afternoon over northeast Illinois and
northwest Indiana. Any shower or thunderstorm could produce
graupel, which is small, soft hail. Some lakeshore flooding and
beach erosion is likely along the northwest Indiana Lake Michigan
shoreline. Finally, temperatures across portions of northern
Illinois could get close to freezing tonight.
