This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered to numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms are
expected this afternoon into the early evening ahead of a cold
front. With a moist air mass in place, locally heavy rainfall
rates are likely under any more robust showers and especially
thunderstorms. Localized flash flooding will be possible for any
areas that receive a longer duration of heavy downpours. There is
a relatively higher threat for localized flash flooding north and
west of a Mendota to Waukegan line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Monday Night through Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

Moving toward the north northeast at 20 to 25 mph.
