as forecast precipitation 24-48 hours into the future.

Safety message...If you encounter a flooded roadway...turn around and

The Flood Warning continues for
The Fox River at Algonquin Lock & Dam tailwater, or from Johnsburg
downstream to Red Gate Road in St. Charles.
* from late tonight to late Monday night.
* At 730 PM Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Friday and continue to
rise to near 10.4 feet by Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 10.5 feet...Low-lying sections of Cornish Park are
inundated in Algonquin.
