...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHERN KANE AND SOUTHEASTERN MCHENRY
COUNTIES...

At 640 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Lakewood to near Hampshire, moving northeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Carpentersville, Algonquin, McHenry, Woodstock, Island Lake, Lake In
The Hills, Huntley, Gilberts, Lakemoor, Hampshire, Lakewood, Oakwood
Hills, Prairie Grove, Bull Valley, Holiday Hills, Trout Valley,
Crystal Lake, Cary, Fox River Grove and Barrington Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Illinois.
