This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop this
afternoon and possibly linger into this evening over northern and
central Illinois and perhaps extreme northwest Indiana. The main
thunderstorm threats will be lightning, heavy downpours and gusty
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Thursday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk in the afternoon and evening.
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk southeast of I-55.

DISCUSSION:

Additional slow moving thunderstorms will be possible on
Wednesday and then potentially becoming more numerous in coverage
Thursday afternoon and evening. Heavy downpours in thunderstorms
may cause localized flooding. The daily chance for thunderstorms
will end by mid day Friday as a cold front sweeps across the area.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the north at 25 to 30 mph.
